Casual: Vampire Knight Chapter 1 Thoughts

It’s been 15 years since I first picked up Vampire Knight in the pages of Shojo Beat. The series was one of my first experiences with Shojo manga. A decade and a half later, I’m still hooked on Hana to Yume, Lala, and the whole line of magazines. Writing this helped me realize just how deeply I love Hakusensha’s manga in general. Reading Vampire Knight chapter 1 after all these years brought back so many happy memories. It made me want to go back and find all my old Hana to Yume label of comics I’d purchased over the years.
