Hana to Yume: Oresama Teacher chapter 41

Oresama Teacher chapter 41 returns to the central narrative again as the reader learns more about professor’s past through his friend from his schooling years. An old friend of the professor returns as Mafuyu befriends and inevitably becomes jealous towards him in the span of one chapter. Mafuyu still has not finished her summer homework which is interrupted by the professor’s friend and the professor himself. I enjoy the series’ poke at shonen manga conventions with everyone being “friends” regardless of circumstances. It really helps the series stick itself out in the current shojo manga landscape often nowadays populated by pulpy YA romances.
